Acceptable use policy

Flowmind Social helps you run your own pages well. It must not be used to spam, deceive or harm people, or to put our access to Facebook, YouTube and X at risk for every other customer.

Last updated 21 October 2026 · Part of our terms of service

1. No spam, engagement bait or fake engagement

  • Do not publish repetitive, bulk or unsolicited content, identical posts across unrelated pages, or comments and messages that people did not invite.
  • Do not use the service to buy, sell or manufacture likes, follows, views, comments or reactions, or to run pages whose purpose is to inflate engagement.
  • Do not use the assistant or the API to reply to comments or messages on pages you do not run, to mass-message people, or to send messages outside the platform’s rules (for example outside Meta’s 24-hour window without a permitted tag).
  • Do not post engagement bait that a platform prohibits (vote-baiting, share-baiting, misleading “tag a friend” schemes) or misleading links.

2. No impersonation

  • Connect only Pages, channels and accounts you own or are authorised to manage. Do not connect an account by using someone else’s credentials.
  • Do not run pages that pretend to be another person, business, news organisation or public body, or that use another brand’s name or marks in a misleading way.
  • Do not configure a voice or persona that claims to be a specific real person without their permission, or that denies being automated when a law or platform rule requires disclosure.

3. Prohibited content

You may not publish, store or send through the service content that:

  • is illegal where you or your audience are, or promotes illegal activity;
  • sexually exploits or endangers children, in any form — we report this to the authorities;
  • threatens, harasses, bullies or incites violence or hatred against people on the basis of who they are;
  • is sexually explicit, or depicts gratuitous violence, in violation of the platforms’ rules;
  • is deliberately false in a way that can cause harm — medical, electoral or financial disinformation, fake emergencies, scams;
  • infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, including media you do not have a licence to use;
  • exposes private information about people (doxxing) or personal data you have no right to publish;
  • contains malware, phishing or links to them.

4. Respect platform policies and rate limits

  • Everything you do through the service must also comply with Meta’s, YouTube’s and X’s terms, community guidelines, advertising rules and developer policies. Their rules apply on top of ours, and they, not we, decide what happens to your Page or channel.
  • Do not try to get around a platform’s limits — publishing caps, messaging windows, comment-rate limits, age or region restrictions — through the service or by combining it with other tools.
  • Do not use data from one platform in ways that platform forbids (for example, exporting commenters’ details for marketing lists, or using audience data for advertising targeting outside the platform).
  • If a platform warns, restricts or suspends your account, stop the behaviour that caused it; do not reconnect under another account to continue it.

5. The assistant

  • Keep your knowledge base truthful. Do not instruct the assistant to make claims you know to be false, to pose as a professional giving medical, legal or financial advice, or to pressure or manipulate people.
  • Do not use auto mode on a page for topics where an unreviewed wrong answer could hurt someone (health, safety, legal rights, money) — keep those in “ask me first”.
  • Do not attempt to make the assistant produce prohibited content, to extract private details about other customers, or to reveal data its page scope does not cover.

6. API keys, accounts and access

  • API keys are for software acting on your own workspace. Do not share a key with people or services outside your organisation, embed it in public code or client apps, or use one key for many unrelated customers.
  • Do not use the API to scrape, bulk-export or resell the data of your audience, to flood the service with requests, or to get around plan limits (for example, rotating keys or workspaces to multiply monthly allowances).
  • Do not share one account between several people; invite them with roles instead. Do not create accounts with false details, in bulk, or to obtain repeated trials.

7. Security of the service

  • Do not probe, scan or test the service for vulnerabilities without following our responsible disclosure process, and never access data that is not yours even if a flaw would allow it.
  • Do not interfere with the service, other customers’ workspaces or our sub-processors — no denial-of-service, no malware, no credential stuffing.
  • Do not reverse-engineer the service or copy it to build a competing product.

8. What happens if this policy is broken

Depending on how serious and how deliberate the breach is, we may: warn you and ask you to fix it; remove the content, stop the scheduled posts or pause the assistant involved; revoke API keys; suspend a page, a workspace or your account until the issue is resolved; or terminate the account without refund for serious or repeated breaches. Where a platform asks us to act or the law requires it, we may have to act without warning. We may also report illegal activity to the authorities and cooperate with platforms investigating abuse. See the terms of service for details.

9. Reporting abuse

If you believe a page run through Flowmind Social is breaking this policy, or if your content is being used without permission, email [email protected] with links and a description. We look at every report and reply within 2 working days.
